Founded by.
LASTRE was founded by Alexey Pozdnyakov, an interior designer and material specialist based in Los Angeles.
Over eighteen years, Alexey has specified and sourced tile and stone for residential, hospitality, and commercial projects across Moscow and Los Angeles — including the renovation of 40+ Soviet-era cinema complexes, consultation on Neva Towers Moscow City, and high-end residential work across both cities. Total material specified: over 1,500,000 square feet.
Before LASTRE, Alexey built his expertise leading sales and opening showrooms across five premium tile destinations in Moscow — representing the most sought-after European ceramic brands including Versace Ceramics, Petracer's, and Cotto d'Este, with annual presence at Cersaie in Bologna — the world's largest tile exhibition.
In 2025, he took First Place at the IIDA SoCal Design Charrette. In 2026, he earned a BS in Interior Design from CSUN.
